Been here a couple weeks ago. The service of having a restaurant inside a supermarket is just pure class. I love the atmosphere and always nice music playing in the background. Great to shop with some nice finds in the store. They are hidden so take a good look or you'll miss a "buy" of the century.

The H-Mart in Manhattan’s Koreatown is ridiculously expensive (because of the high rent), but the H-Mart in Queens is reasonably priced. The store is spacious, clean, and easy to navigate. And it’s always empty (is that okay?).

I usually come here to buy bulgogi beef. It’s cheap, at about $10 a pound. It’s not particularly high-quality meat, but it’s soft and satisfying. It’s perfect when you want to enjoy BBQ Beef on a budget.

They sometimes have sales with great deals, so it’s worth checking the shelves carefully. Japanese curry, natto, frozen yakisoba noodles, and cup noodles are sometimes on sale. Also, the BBQ Beef sauce is always on sale, so I recommend it.

Personally, I like the “Korean-style mini rice cakes,” which looks just like Japanese ohagi. They sell Japanese snacks alongside Korean ones (from Lotte)

This is the best location in NYC. It's a huge market with ample space to stroll shopping cart around. The selections are more and prices are reasonable. However, freshly make food is little dry.

Love this Hmart so much and have been a big fan since they opened. Lots of great items + family fun stuff to do between their food court, small arcade/claw machine area and cute stationary store, etc.

It’s also super well organized, kept very clean and I especially love their seafood, prepared foods, marinated meats and snack sections. Free parking on the roof is also clutch.

Yesterday, Saturday the 3rd, I bought chestnuts at H Mart in Long Island City, and more than half of them were rotten. I boiled more than half and peeled them, but none of them were in normal condition. I’m wondering how such products can be imported and sold. I thought the price was cheap for a reason, but at this point, it’s just food waste disposal. Please let me know your position on this. If you need photos, I can send them. Some have already been thrown away, but I have photos of the remaining ones. Even if it’s not visible, they smell rotten.

Before and after 사진도 추가합니다.

This is a hidden gem. We came for Gong Cha and stumbled upon a food hall with a large variety of koreon food + mini arcade + a very large super market with food from many different countries.

Before it opened I called it. This area needed a comprehensive grocery store not another specialty one. If you go to Roosevelt Avenue it’s stuffed with Asian supermarkets. They have a one product selection, if any, of common items all nationalities use. Cake mix. Syrup. Soda. Butter. Bacon prepared meals and pet foods. On and on I could keep adding to this list. I doubt they’re going to be around for a long time. If you shop there, you’ll just have to go the another store too. Or two. It’s filthy and badly laid out. They did nothing to improve the stores condition since stop and shop ripped up the floors to sell them. It’s awful. And I love a good selection of Asian products but it would be nice if you could buy other things there. If they have it - it’s priced three times higher than its real value. They’re taking advantage of the captive audience

This is the fourth HMart in New York City of attendant. They are lodges facility in New York City. And in three boroughs. Many of the employees doesn't speak English, or share one another's Latino or Asian languages. Not good.

I shopped there yesterday. I wasn’t impressed because H mart advertised one price and charged another which is a very sneaky way to do a business.

Shopped here twice - first time for salmon sashimi which was returned because it was foul and I received a refund. Second time for prepared sushi rolls - spicy tuna - not quite as off as the salmon, but close enough.

What gives HMart? I want to love you but I think this is it for us

Found the price very fair, and the variety of products is absolutely amazing!

They have an absolutely insane variety of “ready-to-eat” foods, fresh and frozen, huge fridges with kimchi, sweets and snacks, cookware and tableware.

The employees were very friendly and helpful.

This huge asian market used to be Stop and Shop. It's very clean, well stocked and most of all very spacious. Their prices are reasonable and they offer sales every week. They have a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood and meats.

This specific location is okay, they have a decent selection & it is a pretty decent store but like 90% of the staff are jerks, other then that the selection is pretty decent depending on what you are looking for.

Ok only for fresh seafood and noodles. Everything else is overpriced, milk, juice, cereal. Bread and cheese is limited selection and expensive.
