H Mart Woodside

I believe it used to be independently owned and not part of H Mart Corporation, but it looks like it became a part of it with the new renovation. It seems to be a small, express store of the larger H Mart. With the big H Mart LIC in proximity, I don’t think I would go here. Also, they need to check their displayed items, as some salts I saw were already expired.

물가가 올라서 그런건지 모르겠지만 플러싱보단 가격이 좀 있네요 물건도 별로 없고 제한적이네요 급하게 필요한건만 사시는게 좋을듯 만들어진 음식은 그다지..

Had the chance to go to the re-opened HMart in Woodside! I'm glad I did! Good selection, fresh veggies, ready to eat food, a lot of food options and neat and well organized items.

Its way smaller than the H-mart in LIC.
So If you're coming here you should be shopping light.

They don't have the big shopping carts that a kid could sit in, they are more like baskets with wheels and a handles

Generally not a bad place. Tons of Korean instant ramen. It is just that things are a bit more expensive than Costco

Update 10/05/2023 wait is over. It’s open again. Still same size store but modernized to match other hmart. I’m gonna miss the tofu made on site though

Update 8/8/2023. New door installed. Sign outside says coming soon. Should be re-opening in couple months.
Update 10/31/2022. Renovation not done yet. Got here 5:15PM and worker is just shutting the gate down.

Been visiting per month for the past 10 years for sliced meat and Korean grocery. Looking forward to the reopen!

I can't wait to visit this Korean market. Finally it is back.

H Mart's first store has reopened.
It's a mini store, but there's really everything there is. It would be convenient for residents living nearby to buy fresh ingredients right away.

I'd like to echo a lot of what the other low star reviews have said also. They watch you and whisper to themselves laughing as if they're suspicious of you. It was a Hispanic looking staff at the counter at the time of my purchase. I get that post corona, stealing is on the rise, so in some way, i am sympathetic to why. But I'd rather not feel like a criminal while I'm looking at shrimp crackers.
