Whole Foods Market Newark

I love Whole Foods market. Super clean and fresh always. They’re always on point.

This is a great place to shop. I ordered a Chipotle bacon chicken sandwich that was amazing, I would definitely recommend.

Special shout out to Carlean- Customer Service Desk on Monday 08.28.23 at 8:15am. Carlean went above and beyond to make my "oversized" Amazon return not turn into my nightmare. Rather than just sending me on my way to the nearest UPS store, she found a way to make my trip to the store worthwhile rather than pointless and she turned my impending frown into a smile. So thank YOU again!

Unfortunately, when I called to speak to a manager at 9:39am, in order to share my praise of Carlean, I was told that there was "no one in leadership that I could speak with at the moment, and to maybe try after 10am, and maybe someone will be in"......say what now? The person who answered the phone did not even offer to take a message! This now being an example of POOR customer service!

Oh well......at least I will have a positive memory of Carlean being an example what it means to be a good employee and go above and beyond to achieve objectives and make the customer feel valued.

Some of the workers at the deli counter ignore customers, and you have to wait a while to get waited on. Some are rude.

It is definitely a great addition to downtown newark. Right across the street from military park. Good value prices right on the bus line. Its nice to have somewhere you can go and get a great nutritional groceries.

I like it was clean but the prices are a little too expensive

Out of all of the WholeFoods in I've been to this is the only one I've seen that has the baby bananas that I prefer and I'm sad when they're not in stock.
