Oakland International Airport

Oakland International Airport is smaller compared to other airports like SFO, but that's precisely what makes it accessible for easy pick-up, and drops. Its compact size ensures you won't get lost, and the added bonus of free transportation from the BART station to the airport is a fantastic service, even if you haven't personally used it. It's a valuable resource for travelers, and the convenience is highly appreciated.

I visited Oakland International Airport recently to drop off my dad, and I must say, the initial line we encountered upon entering was shockingly long, a sight I hadn't seen in years. We patiently waited for 45 minutes until it finally moved along swiftly once they opened up. The TSA line, on the other hand, was quick and efficient.

On a positive note, I noticed some thought-provoking advertisements in the hallways addressing important issues like animal abuse, cruelty, and human trafficking. It's great to see such awareness efforts for all travelers to read and contemplate.

As we left the airport, we were met with an unpleasant odor of sweetened raw fish and sewer lakewater, which provided an unfortunate introduction to the city. I'm not sure how long this smell has lingered, but it's definitely a concern that should be addressed as soon as possible.

Great airport to fly into or out of. Great parking.

Pretty nice. Great flights to many places, the best of which is frankly Bellingham Washington.
