Decent selection of food. Things are not organized on the shelves. Prices at checkout don't often match the one listed on shelves. Check out the fish before having them cleaned some can be spoiled
- Love this place. Veggies are always fresh and reasonably priced and they have a great selection of sauces. Many types of rice and seaweed. A must-stop for your Asian cuisine needs.
- They have a reasonable selection of staples, fish and veggies. Where these guys excel is in their back room of Asian hard goods like dishes, pots, woks, cooking and eating utensils and more. We bought several bowls and think our food is already tasting better because of them
- This is one of my favorite market. It has most of the food I like especially the fresh vegetables and seafood.
- "Fresh" fish and vegetable selection is pretty good, which is why we go there. Parking is terrible - it's a very cramped parking lot. Prices are pretty reasonable. There's another Asian store about 5 minutes further west on Central Avenue that's a better experience and slightly more organized.
Update: Friday evenings around 5:30pm appear to be a good time to visit for buying "fresh" fish (frozen, then thawed). The selection of fish is great! The other issues remain: parking is difficult, and the grocery aisles are a bit cramped and disorganized.
- Make sure you count all the items you buy... most of the time when we do a grocery here it's always a $20 extra for stuffs that were ringed twice.
They cheat you if you don't pay attention.
