One of the best things about RIC is how much it embraces the local Richmond vibe. Before you board, you can grab a solid breakfast or a locally roasted coffee at Ironclad Coffee Roasters or sit down for a meal at Applebee’s or Cross Grain Brewhouse. If you’re a history buff, keep an eye out for the Civil War-era artifacts and cool nautical artwork scattered throughout the building—it definitely beats staring at a blank wall.
