- Very nice asian store that provides all your cravings!
- Awesome local grocery for Eastern products and items. Love the veggie and meat section and always find excellent chili's and sauces. Solid neighborhood grocery.
- It's all good here. And has a delicious smorgasbord.
- Excellent prices and very good quality and variety of products. Super fresh vegetables and fruits. The employees are very friendly and the cashiers are very respectful. If you are looking for something different that you have not been able to find in other markets, you will surely find it here. I recommend it!
- They always have good selection of veggies and vietnamese foods
- Tan A supermarket has a huge variety of seasonings , herbs , teas . Nice fish selection as well
- A friendly full service Asian supermarket that carries produce, meat and seafood departments, endless variety of noodles, rice, canned goods, including Asian pharmaceuticals, etc. Easy to shop. When I am interested in finding something unique, I stop in. It is located in the Tan-A Shopping Plaza, across from the Burlington Coat Factory on the corner of W Broad and Horsepen Rds.
- They had exactly what I needed. Excellent selection.
- I love their fish. Always
fresh and cleaned well. I love their tea's. Huge Variety of tea's and Asian sauce. I live in East Henrico, and drive all that distance to shop there.
- If you're cooking Asian food, they've got what you need.
- Absolutely my favorite Asian grocery store. As vegetarian American restaurants and stores still make plant-based diets difficult. I've shopped here since 2009, and whenever I go into the city, I stop here to stock up. My go-to's are fresh Kimchi, assorted vegetables, Fried Tofu, Spring Rolls, Pastries, and Bowls. If you genuinely want to make a filling meal without preservatives, this is the go-to. Their fresh meat section is massive and allows those who eat it to explore.
- This store has everything, you just can't find it. There's only one person that speaks English and she the cashier. And the whole family hangs out talking to her. If you manage to find one of the 20 things you want and give up trying to find them, you'll find a checkout line that looks like Costco during covid, long long long. They're missing our on a lot of business. I gave up.
- I like this store. They have many items at reasonable prices you can't find elsewhere. Annoying they require a $10 purchase to use credit or debit. It's against the rules of a merchant account to set minimum purchase limits or charge CC transaction fees. They don't take AmEx.
- Pretty good price on vegetables and a good variety as well. It has your standard stuff (like bok choy and it's varieties), but also has vegetables that are more difficult to find (like tung ho). Not as big as an H Mart, but you'll still be able to find most of the items you'll need.
- Found lots of produce that is not in chain grocery stores. Produce was fresh. Cookies, desserts and candies were well stocked with many varieties. So many things to choose.
Many varieties of noodles, oils, sauces, and especially teas. The owners run a really nice store and I enjoy shopping there. Update: today I explored more of the store and found some noodles that fall into my keto diet. Very pleased to find.
- Tan A is our source for asian condiments, fresh vegetables, kimchi, rice, noodles etc. The selection of fresh fish is the best I've seen in Richmond. Yummy spring rolls. Everything
- We love coming and getting snacks and ingredients I can’t get anywhere else around
- Always one of my favorite stores to stop in. Alot of fresh things you can find in this market. Especially when the regular grocery store doesn't carry it.
- Tan A is the go to Asian Supermarket for my wife and I.
Whenever we need to stock up on ingredients for hot pot, homemade KBBQ or just great snacks this is always our first and final stop. It's a bit of a tradition to stop here everytime my mother-in-law visits as well, so she can stock up on all the best Asian groceries and snacks before heading back down to South Carolina!
