I rented the EV Manager Special and received a KIA NIRO EV, which was a smooth process, and the car itself is great. However, I didn't give it a 5-star rating because the EV battery charge upon pickup was 73% and I had charged it to 82% at drop off. Despite my additional charge, they added a $25 EV Battery Recharge fee to my receipt as a Gold member. Fortunately, I took photos of the EV charge level when I picked up the car, and I'm currently in touch with a customer care agent to resolve this. My advice to fellow rental customers considering an EV rental is to take pictures of the battery charge percentage at pickup, along with other necessary car photos. This provides evidence when discussing such matters with customer service. Additionally, it would be helpful if the staff were more attentive to these details.
