San Francisco, 2675 Geary Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94118

If you’re living in Anza Vista, Lower Pacific Heights, or the Richmond District and need a spot that makes city errands feel way less like a chore, the Target at 2675 Geary Blvd is a total neighborhood lifesaver. Located right at the corner of Geary and Masonic in the City Center complex, this "Geary Target" is a favorite for everyone in the 94118 zip code. It’s got that classic, high-energy San Francisco vibe where you can knock out your entire grocery list and then catch a glimpse of the city skyline from the top of the parking deck.

The real benefit of this location is the balance between size and convenience. While many SF stores are tiny "city-format" shops, this is a much larger store that actually carries almost everything you’d find in the suburbs. You’ve got a full grocery section for your weekly meal prep, a massive electronics department, and a great selection of home furniture and apparel. It also features a CVS Pharmacy for all your prescriptions and a Starbucks Cafe right inside the entrance—perfect for grabbing a latte before you start your loop through the aisles.

What really distinguishes this spot for locals is the free parking garage, which is a massive win in a city where finding a spot is usually a nightmare. It’s also incredibly easy to get to by MUNI, with the 38 Geary stopping right nearby. If you’re in a rush to beat the fog or just heading home from work, the Order Pickup and Drive Up services here are super efficient. You can just tap your app, and the staff will have your household essentials ready to go, saving you from having to navigate the crowds during the busy weekend rush.

They keep a reliable schedule that’s perfect for the early-morning crowd and those late-night "I forgot laundry detergent" runs. Target San Francisco West is open Monday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. (Just a heads up that the Pharmacy and Starbucks usually close a bit earlier, so check the Target app if you’re coming in specifically for a script). It’s a clean, bright, and dependable staple that helps keep life in the heart of San Francisco running smoothly.

Just popped in to pick up some household items. I had absolutely no problem with the store or its retail associates.

What I have is a major problem with Target hiring a security firm that deploys personnel that are dressed in green paramilitary uniforms. With the events in Minneapolis just a few days old, perhaps Target should understand that a viral photo and post of “Target is hiring ICE agents to secure stores” might not be a good thing.

The utter lack of awareness parallels Target’s ham-handed reversal of its DEI policies.

Target on a shopping center with plenty of parking and all supercharger at the top floor. There is also a chipotle subway and petsmart in the same shopping center. If your supercharging your Tesla you have to go to the petsmart parking area and you will see signs that point you to the supercharger area which is the 3 floor or so. There is plenty of superchargers on the roof as well.

The store is well organised and spread across two levels, which makes it easier to find things. It can get very busy at night, so be prepared for lines. There’s no self checkout, and some items are locked up, which is understandable.

They’ve remodelled since my last visit, and I really like the new layout.

I generally like this Target, but it still has shortcomings. Parking is relatively plentiful and the store is bright and clean. There is a good selection but the layout is confusing. For example, you'll find most organizers and shelving on the first floor, but cube shelves and some organizers are on the second floor.

Grocery is a mixed bag with some good deals ($1 frozen veggies) but a lot of marked up prices. If you want cheaper prices from a major store, I feel like Safeway has much better coupons.

I’ll never shop at this target again ever since they started putting everything behind glass. You simply cannot shop here when you are short on time and the service is slow.
