The original Whole Foods Market opened in 1980 with a staff of only 19 people. It was an immediate success. At the time, there were less than half a dozen natural food supermarkets in the United States. We have grown by leaps and bounds since our first store opened.

I travel alot so I've been to MANY Whole Food Stores. I'd definitely say this one was the least impressive. I was looking for an Airbnb gift card but while they did not have a big selection (and none for Airbnb) they sure had more than plenty Amazon GCs. HA! I'm sure the employee I interacted with loved me as I pointed out the moldy tomatoes in all 3 containers of the type I wanted.

Good for specialized products . It's a little to pricey for me. I'm a low budg shopper. Pizza are really good and a huge variety of cooked food

Whole Foods Santa Barbara has a small crowded parking lot. The inside is the same good food.

This wholefoods used to be such a good experience. Ever since Bezo's acquisition it has become like one giant soulless Amazon pick up & drop off center.

The store was very small and the isles were pretty close together. It was very busy and some people were very rude and walking into us. The staff at checkout were kind and very sweet, the store could definitely benefit from hiring more clerks though as the lines got very long quickly.

This store is not clean and not well ventilated. Horrible hot food bar. You can smell spoiled chicken miles away. Poor meat selections. Prices are higher compared to other Wholefoods.

This is my favorite grocery store. There are lots of organic and local products at reasonable prices. The bakery offerings are often delicious too. Try their brownies! The check out assistants are always very friendly.

Decent natural market, but pricey. Spotty selection of organic foods (2 bags of organic potato chips amidst 200 non organic). They do carry good quality and reasonably priced fresh organic pork, which Lazy Acres does not, and is the main reason we sometimes shop at Whole Foods. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, but not easy to find.

I always stop here when going to Solvang. I love their food bar and there is hardly ever a long line. They also have self checkout which I love.

Amazon return center was understaffed and busy! *(added) The poor girl was doing the best she could. Scheduling was not enough to service customers quickly.
