Santa Fe, 17730 US-84 FRONTAGE SANTA FE, NM 87506

If you’re driving north from the historic Santa Fe Plaza toward the red rocks and high desert mesas, you’ll encounter a location that is truly one-of-a-kind in the automotive world. Tesla Santa Fe, located at 17730 US-84 Frontage Road, represents a historic partnership between modern technology and tribal sovereignty. Situated on the lands of the Nambé Pueblo, this was the very first Tesla center in the United States built on Native American land. By collaborating with the Pueblo, Tesla was able to bring its mission of sustainable energy directly to New Mexico, navigating around traditional state regulations to create a full-service hub that honors the land while embracing the future.

The experience at this center is a far cry from a typical dealership visit. The facility, which was beautifully repurposed from a defunct casino, blends into the vast New Mexico landscape with a clean, white-walled minimalist aesthetic. Inside, the atmosphere is relaxed and respectful, inviting you to explore the Model 3, Model Y, and the rugged Cybertruck against the backdrop of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The advisors here act as guides rather than salespeople, helping you understand how a Tesla’s dual-motor all-wheel drive is perfectly suited for Northern New Mexico’s sudden winter storms and high-altitude climbs, all without the pressure of a traditional sales pitch.

Beyond being a showroom, this Nambé Pueblo location is a vital lifeline for Tesla owners across the state. As a full-scale service and delivery center, it provides a localized home for high-tech diagnostics and expert maintenance that was once only available by driving hundreds of miles out of state. It’s a quiet, high-tech environment where technicians specialize in keeping your vehicle running at peak performance through software updates and precision care. For many New Mexicans, "delivery day" here is more than just getting a new car; it’s a celebration of a groundbreaking partnership that has brought clean energy and new career opportunities to the local tribal community.

Tesla Santa Fe is proof that innovation doesn’t have to overwrite tradition; it can work alongside it. By offering everything from demo drives to professional service in such a culturally significant location, Tesla has made the transition to electric feel like a natural part of the "Land of Enchantment." Whether you’re a resident of Los Alamos looking for a more efficient commute or a Santa Fe local wanting a vehicle with the highest safety ratings for exploring the backroads, a visit to this unique center on tribal land is the best way to see how the future of the road is being paved with respect and ingenuity.

I bought and got my car serviced out here. It's kind of out in the reservation area so a bit tough to visit if you don't own a car. I personally had to take the blue route from NCRTD and stopped by Pojoaque. From there, it's a 3 mile bike/walk. It's honestly not too bad until the overpass near Tesla because there's no shoulder so you gotta be a bit careful.

Anyways, the staff here were very friendly and took the time to do things right from my perspective. They do seemed a bit overworked given how some appointments are spread-out. Good amount of space to chill while they work on my car and the place next door has a very decent breakfast burrito for the price too. A top factor is how easy they are to reach out to. Either through the tesla app or phone call which is surprising because other service centers seem to redirect you multiple times before you reach a person.

I have honestly never experienced service at a car dealership as good as I did at Tesla in Santa Fe. Gabriel gave my father and me such a warm welcome from the very first moment.

We originally just stopped by because we are visiting from Germany and wanted to see the Cybertruck and maybe test it. Within five minutes, we were already sitting inside the Cybertruck and were allowed to test the autonomous driving features for about two hours. What an incredible experience!

When we returned the keys, Gabriel told us that if we ever wanted to test drive another vehicle, we could simply come back. That’s exactly what we did, we came back today to test drive the Tesla Model Y. Once again, Gabriel welcomed us warmly and even remembered our names — outstanding customer service.

After the test drive, he even helped me configure a Model Y and connected me with a Tesla dealership near my home in Germany.

I can highly recommend this Tesla dealership. Thank you again, Gabriel, for your kindness and exceptional service!

The salesperson that assisted me was rude and condescending. I was not given a thorough briefing on all features. After I had difficulty adjusting the passenger side mirror for a test drive, this person acted as if I was stupid and to blame for it. Then, they tried to cancel the drive. After my protests, the manager helped me and things went much smoother.

The staff is not mean. But when you make a special trip from four hours away and arrive on time for your appointment and they don't get your car in for an hour and a half. Then it takes 45mins to complete the service. It's frustrating because we could have gone somewhere to eat or done something more useful with our time. Ubers take up to 30mins to get to the service center. Tesla advertizes they will take you somewhere but they couldn't take US somewhere!
PLEASE let us know when you're running behind. Your customers time is valuable too. Better communication would be great!
