- We wanted a Jeep Wrangler for our trip to Mount Rainier. None of the other car rental companies could guarantee a Jeep Wrangler except for Budget. The Jeep we rented was virtually brand new with only 14,000 miles. It was also a Willy’s Edition 4XE Hybrid which made gas mileage a bit better and made for an excellent driving experience. Will definitely look at budget first for our next rental.

Edit: Just read the reviews of others experiencing a long wait. Luckily we didn’t have that! We arrived at the SeaTac rental car pick-up on Sunday around 12:45 PM and walked right up to the counter with zero wait. We were in and on our way in about 15 minutes. In fact, the only rental car company to have a waiting line was a new company name that I don’t remember. All the other rental car facilities were virtually the same as Budget. It may be because we weren’t there at peak season or on a Friday? Dunno.

- It was my first time renting a car and it was so easy, the lady at the desk was so helpful. The bus took us right to the rental car place and there was no line what so ever. Returning the car was so easy as well. 10/10 recommend.

I reserved a 4x4 Tacoma. When I arrived I was given a Ford 4x4, which would have been fine except it stunk of smoke. I went back up to the counter to let them know and to get a different 4x4 truck. All they had was an all wheel drive car. My main concern is why the vehicle wasn't properly checked in from the previous renter. Also, the check air light was came on as soon as we pulled out of the SeaTac rental garage. Air pressure on back tire was only at 21psi. We had to stop at a gas station and pay to use there air. I feel they don't really check on the condition of the vehicles properly before they go out. Other than that, the employee's were nice.

The Fast Break service was not fast. There was no sedan, which I had reserved, only pickup trucks and vans, in the designated fast break area - despite the text alert I had received from Budget. I was obliged to wait in line at a very slow-moving kiosk for an attendant to find me a vehicle. The car he found was quite nice and worked well. But the check in process was disappointing.

A wild couple of rides. We did fastbreak service but it was unavailable and we had to wait to secure a vehicle. Once we received the car, the Che k engine light came on and we had to return it to the airport, pretty inconvenient. Returning was a bit problematic, we had a tire deflate but made it to the airport. Glad to give them back their keys

Service totally mediocre, we still got our car but had to rely on the internet.
Two folks at the counter when we walked up; no customers other than us. We didn't have a reservation because the website wasn't working on either of our phones (it was a last minute reservation due to a change in plans). The folks at the counter were playing on their phones, seemed annoyed to be bothered. The lady we talked to quoted us a price double the expected cost and said there were no options. So we sat down and tried on our phones again. This time it went through and we got the expected price. We went back to the counter and the rep directed us to the car pickup area without further comment.
The car pickup down in the lot was smooth, though I'd note that the guy handing out keys was actually an Avis employee.
In the end we got what we needed but it didn't inspire confidence in this locations' customer service.
