ABOUT

Who are we? Well, we seek out the finest natural and organic foods available, maintain the strictest quality standards in the industry, and have an unshakeable commitment to sustainable agriculture. Add to that the excitement and fun we bring to shopping for groceries, and you start to get a sense of what we’re all about. Oh yeah, we’re a mission-driven company too.

The original Whole Foods Market opened in 1980 with a staff of only 19 people. It was an immediate success. At the time, there were less than half a dozen natural food supermarkets in the United States. We have grown by leaps and bounds since our first store opened.

Normally, I wouldn't review a grocery store... but I had a very positive experience the other day and thought I'd change that.

Was running late to a picnic and had planned to pick up some chips and guac. Unfortunately, others must have had the same idea, because somehow the entire store was out of guacamole! I'm not very familiar with many brands at the store (with Whole Foods, I tend think "healthy"... which is not exactly the priority when I'm looking for crowd-pleasing snacks). When the staff saw me looking lost, they literally took me around to find an alternate dip (never would have tried Mango Pineapple salsa on my own, but it is really good!), along with some chips recommendations (I'm normally a Juanita's guy, but they pointed me to Penny's which taste pretty close, with a little less grease, and many fewer crumbs).

Moral of the story: Store employees here rock, and if you ever want to unlock some amazing hidden secrets, ask them for recommendations! They have much wisdom to share.

Clean friendly, hit food is always fresh and the bakery is awesome. All the cashiers are nice, try to be helpful too.

Amazon has destroyed what was best about Whole Foods. It's now stressful vibe, much less selection. Just another grocery now with insane prices.

Their staff are aproachable & knowledgeable about the products they sell. More than I can say about any other large chain grocery stores.

A standard upscale Whole Foods. Nice, but pricey.

Most of the Natural Foods category here. I can't live solely on the pickin's of a regular Store. Example: Bartell Drugs doesn't stock Peppermint gel capsules (taken to soothe one's G.I. Tract).
But: Whole Foods had 'em. &; )
My guts were grateful. Natural Food stores always *smell* really good...each aisle has its unique complex amalgamation of delicious fragrances from the natural ingredients of the products. And: the people are nice there, too.

Clean and bright location with all the normal food you'd expect to find at a Whole Foods.
