Lately I've been struggling with the loss of our baby Baby Markwick thank you to Virginia Mason Medical Center in Gig Harbor for my flowers and for taking such good care of me during my miscarriage/surgery all the ladies there & Dr. Randy Alejo and all of his staff were so sweet and amazing and I was in great hands and they were so compassionate. I will always remember how good you guys were to me during one of the hardest times in my life. I highly recommend Dr. Alejo and his staff!

My family established care with this organization in July of this year. Three weeks ago there was a problem with one of my prescriptions concerning the insurance. Since then I have been attempting to contact the Dr and her staff to get this resolved and the pharmacy has been also with zero communication from the Dr office to any of us. On Monday of this week I called Franciscan Health main number and spoke with a lady who said she would call me back by end of business that day and four days later still nothing. At this point I am so incredibly angry and overdone that I think we are going to be finding a different Dr that is in no way connected to Franciscan Health and I will be telling anyone who will listen to stay away.

Paid my bill on time. They sent the bill again. They admitted on the phone that the second bill was a mistake. This cycle has happened twice and the billing department keeps saying I don't owe anything.

They sent this fake debt to collections.

The hospital staff are great but the billing department is a mess bordering on criminal.

Crooks. They billed me over $1,800 for lab testing that they did not provide. The doctor ordered multiple labs and I was told it would be 11 months before I could see the referral specialist. I then chose to switch medical providers. I was billed for multiple lab tests that I never ended up taking because I switched to Swedish Medical for my healthcare services going forward. I tried to explain this to multiple people at Virginia Mason and nobody at Virginia Mason would change it. I have decided to tell literally anyone I can about my experience with these thieves. I will go out of my way to tell friends, family, coworkers about this experience. Shame on you, Virginia Mason. My account went to collections for this. I also didn't receive any follow up calls to schedule care. I'm not shocked at your epic failure here. There's a reason your were purchased by CHI. You were failing and clearly still are.

Three times it took surgery to finally scope my stomach. Three nights of fasting with actual procedure was uneventful. At 90years of age I was totally weak and 3 nights of fasting completely was disastrous for my wellbeing. Totally did me in.

Your employees are on strike for a reason! Take care of them so they can take care of their patients. Disgusting that they even have to take measures like this just to get better working conditions….

I am one of those people that pay my bills on time every time and this place makes it next to impossible to keep track of your billing. I’ve gotten so many calls from collection agencies. It’s not even funny I will never recommend this place.

Even yesterday I went to three different departments to try to put my HSA card on file not a single one knew how to do it
