If we learn to appreciate the little things In life the world would be a better place avis is one of those little things rented a car for a couple of days I am very please with customer service upon until getting the car i am very mechanical incline so I know alot about vehicle! tire was good, the car was clean, the car was luxurious, smooth rdie, good gas mileage, there's no pro or con to a rental. Get your car! pay the deposit! get the insurance! Treat the car the way you treat your business. #good move along, have fun, and go enjoy your trip. I will rent again, and I due recommend avis car rental, and I will for sure rent again


My son and I wanted a Jeep Wrangler for our week long trip to Moab, UT. Avis had a Jeep available at a great price with unlimited mileage and we conveniently could pick it up right at the airport. Pre-registering on the Avis app made the pick up and drop off process was incredibly easy and fast as well. The car was PERFECT for our trip and I will definitely use Avis again!

If I could give this place zero stars I honestly would. I rent from Avis about 4-9 times a month across the U.S. depending on my travel schedule and coming out here on a family trip I figured I’d rent a car instead of hiring a driver. I had 6 passengers and 9 pieces of luggage (hence the L). One passenger was my mother in law who just finished chemo and was still in a wheel chair but looking forward to mountain air. I reserved a L SUV back in April of 2023 . When I arrived on the 27 of December they had NO L’s and told me they weren’t sure how long the wait would be. I’ve been renting from Avis for YEARS, I’m preferred and they’ve been my choice up until now probably (at least this location). I travel for the holidays every year and other airport Avis I’ve rented from have not had any issue. After waiting an hour for them to tell me it’d be two to three hour wait (meanwhile my MIL who’s in a wheelchair is with me) so they asked me to take a smaller SUV and I was running low on patience and did and ended up having to UBER my son and husband to our hotel because we all could not fit and I needed to get my MIL to her hotel so she could rest. I’m just astonished at the poor customer service this location has and the lack of vehicles and that a reservation means NOTHING. The girl in front me was given 4 bad vehicles yes I said 4! She was much less patient than I after the third bad vehicle, and I totally understand why. They could take lessons from other airport locations and use some training and maybe update their system or send people to budget since they’re owned by the same company now. I even asked for an L from budget and was told no. Just a completely awful experience for people who are traveling with any one who has a disability or is undergoing any type of medical treatment. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. People with crying children in line being told 3-4 hr waits for vehicles that would hold skis etc. I could go on and I felt so bad for people behind me. I am in the process of my complaint with corporate to get most of my Money back because honestly this location doesn’t deserve a dime after making my sick MIL wait as long as they did because they didn’t have the correct vehicle available. And truthfully it’s unforgivable.

Scammed me for 168.00 for one additional hour. I showed up 30 minutes early (dropped off on time) but the car was heavily damaged and I had to wait for another vehicle to be cleaned. I actually left the airport AFTER my rental time. When I tried to remedy it, they made me call back the following day. Then they tried to keep the money stating that there was nothing they could do. I demanded a supervisor three times and they stonewalled me for half an hour on the phone before reluctantly charging me only $20 more than my original reservation amount. Avis will have to earn my patronage if I am ever to rent from them again.

Reserved an all wheel drive SUV so we could get to the ski hills without chains. Received a 2 wheel drive. Told we could wait for an AWD, but might "be a while". Apparently Avis can take the reservation, but they can't deliver on that reservation.

Windshield wipers were not working which put the car in an unsafe condition. I reported it when I brought the car back in and requested a partial refund which the lady at the counter said to have applied but upon checking my credit card I actually got billed even more than what I was originally quoted even though I brought the car back with more gas.

Arrived at SLC at 10:30 PM on Sunday, no lines on AVIS and was told to head to the parking lot as a preferred client. I was given my two class upgrade as a president's club member. Plenty of vehicles to choose from. Vehicle was clean and ready to go. From arriving at Avis to leaving the premises, it took 15 mins max.
