Билл Гейтс построит в Аризоне "умный город"
Одна из инвестиционных компаний миллиардера Билла Гейтса приобрела участок земли в пустыне в американском штате Аризона, чтобы построить там город технологий. Проект носит рабочее название Бельмонт и находится на западе от столицы штата - города Финикс, недалеко от трассы, ведущей в Лас-Вегас.
Пресс-служба компании Belmont Partners: «Бельмонт создаст устремленное в будущее сообщество с коммуникациями и инфраструктурой, которые используют передовые технологии, разработанные вокруг высокоскоростных цифровых сетей, центров обработки данных, новых технологий производства и моделей дистрибуции, автономного транспорта и автономных логистических хабов».
Территория города займет около 10 тысяч гектаров, что в 25 раз меньше Москвы. В городе будут офисы, торговые площадки, школы и около 80 тысяч жилых домов и квартир. Дата начала строительства пока неизвестна.
