Куомо рассматривает вопрос о введении комендантского часа в Нью-Йорке
Губернатор Нью-Йорка Эндрю Куомо заявил, что рассматривает вопрос о введении комендантского часа в Нью-Йорке, и национальная гвардия находится в режиме ожидания после уик-энда в связи с убийством полицейскими Джорджа Флойда, невооруженного темнокожего мужчины.
«Я собираюсь поговорить с мэром о комендантском часе, национальная гвардия находится в режиме ожидания. Я сказал мэрам по всему штату, что могу вызвать национальную гвардию», - сказал Куомо на пресс-конференции в понедельник.
Куомо сказал, что, по его мнению, у полицейского управления Нью-Йорка должно быть достаточно персонала, но если это проблема, он позвонит в Национальную гвардию. По его словам, некоторые из насильственных действий, предпринятых полицией Нью-Йорка, обострили проблему.
