Сенат США принял бюджет на 2018 год
Американские сенаторы большинством голосов принял бюджет страны на 2018 год. Об этом сообщает ABC News.
Считается, что данный документ делает возможным проведение в стране налоговой реформы, обещанной президентом США Дональдом Трампом. Как ожидается, данный шаг увеличит долг Соединенных Штатов в ближайшие десять лет на 1,5 триллиона долларов, но в тоже время снизит расходы бюджета на четыре триллиона за тот же период.
«У нас есть уникальная возможность изменить неэффективную налоговую систему», — заявил в этой связи лидер сенатского большинства Митч Макконелл (Mitch McConnell).
19 сентября сообщалось, что американский сенат одобрил выделение 150 миллионов долларов в 2018 финансовом году на военную помощь Украине. В предыдущие годы на эти цели закладывалась сумма в 350 миллионов долларов, но на 2018-й траты были уменьшены. Отмечается, что глава Пентагона может беспрепятственно предоставить Киеву лишь 75 миллионов долларов. Для выделения остальных средств потребуется специальное разрешение сената.
