Georgian restaurant and bakery Kavkaz - grilled meats and baked goods from a wood-burning oven
The most interesting reviews
- First time trying Georgian food, so I can’t verify how authentic it might be; but we were overwhelmed by how wonderful the restaurant smelled from the wood fire oven as soon as we walked in, the service was very friendly, and the food was delicious! Our server happily made some great suggestions when we told him we were newbies. He checked on us often and made sure we were happy with our selections. The fresh bread with cheesy filling was amazing and the grilled meat was super flavorful and satisfying!
- I don’t understand the low reviews, this place is outstanding! First time trying Georgian food so I have nothing to compare it to however, everything was soooo delicious and well seasoned! We had the adjaruli, khinkali, the lamb kebab and a fried eggplant with walnut dish (don’t know the name). The adjaruli should go viral, who doesn’t love wood fired bread with cheese and butter?! SO GOOD!!!! We also tried both desserts (omg so good) and Georgian wine. Service was great, our server was so nice. I can’t wait to go back.
- I recently had the pleasure of dining at an outstanding Caucasian cuisine restaurant. The experience was truly delightful, and I highly recommend it. The hinkali, a traditional Georgian dumpling, was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. The Adjarian khachapuri, a cheese-filled bread boat, was absolutely delicious. And let me tell you about the shashlik! The pork skewers were succulent and tender, prepared in the finest Caucasus tradition. Overall, the restaurant offered an excellent culinary journey through the Caucasus region, and I thoroughly enjoyed every dish.
