TOP important and interesting reviews from patients

I would like to express my devout appreciation for the care I received on 7/29/23@6:23 pm. Dallas Regional and their staff we're professional, kind, compassionate, sympathetic, very knowledgeable and concerned about me as a Patient. I felt as if I was so much more than a patient they made me feel like family. Special thanks to Carrie Phillips APRN, The medication male nurse and the kind gentleman who came in and comforted me thru my excruciating pain. I would also like to thank the ladies at the front desk and also the intake nurse that took my vitals. I have worked in the medical field over 30yrs of my life this experience took me back when people really cared about the Patient First. It didn't matter about my ethnicity, or my financial situation all Regional Medical was concerned about was my pain and discomfort. It's time for us to start back acknowledging and appreciating these dedicated individuals who leave their love ones at home each and every day so that they can care for another person need. May God Bless Regional Medical staff and all the other important people that's involved in what Regional Medical stands for just because you're in the background doesn't mean you're forgotten..

Thank you for making the world just a little bit better we all could use a little kindness now and again...

What can I say about this hospital, well my husband ended up there in 2019 via ambulance due to some serious medical issues. We ended staying almost a month. We had a couple one bad experiences with 2 techs, but the supervisor took care of it. From that point on we were well taken care of by several nurses and techs. We love Ms. Willie, Ms. Tara and sweet Tasha. Words cannot describe how much of a gentleman Divine is and how caring he is. He always made sure that I had something to eat. We have been back 3 additional times 2020, 2022 and 2023 again for my husband's serious medical issues and each time we receive the same treatment. I want to thank everyone for their caring and support throughout our difficult times.

Outstanding! I was in a serious car wreck and struck from the rear. I was wheeled in swiftly by wheelchair, vitals and arm banded quickly, faster than most hospitals on CT scans and XRays. Nurse was very accommodating. The NP should be a little nicer and more patient initially. The facility is very very clean including the bathroom. Thank the entire staff not excluding my speedy check in.

The nursing staff was amazing! They delivered my baby in a timely, highly tense, fast pased environment. I'm sure I was the talk of the night of how fast the whole ordeal went down. I want to thank the nurse Tony S. & her team for going above & beyond. They did fantastic. P.S. I'm not sorry, Dana (pretty eyes). Lol.

Stay away from them. You might get surprise bills in mail. Before I went to surgery I asked them how much total I have to pay out of pocket. I paid total out of pocket before procedure was done. Now they saying I owe them more money. I have been to other hospital too but this one is totally different story.

I've moved from mesquite to waxahachie but I travel to mesquite for my mammogram because of Dina and front window checking me in each year. Dina is fast, thorough, professional and makes an unpleasant procedure as easy going as you can. Love Dina so much! Can't say enough good. An extra perk for sure is the sweet little gift I get afterwards each year for scheduling in October breast cancer awareness month. I have quite a collection and love them all. If you have to have a mammogram might as well do it with a cute lil gift perk. Look so forward every year to what I'm adding to my collection. Nice gifts. I've shared with others why I love my mammograms from DRM radiology.
God bless you all. See you next year if all goes well with this year's results. ❤️

I was there for an appointment in the radiology department. The kindness everyone shows towards me is always the best. Especially Dina, she is the technician that I see everytime I go there. Her friendliness and compassion is second to none. She educated me on eating healthy and taking care of my body. She gives me hope for my future.

they were very rude at the front desk & the nurse was very rude as well , they had a lot of people in the waiting room waiting to be seen while doctors were leaving in & out from different food places they will let you bleed out and die in the lobby

Dyna in radiology was the best. Had to get a screening and she went over everything with me. She made me comfortable and less nervous. Will do all my health screenings at DRMC

I’m not sure why this pulled up Betty’s name as the appointment was for Pat. As usual, everyone is friendly and I can get everything I need done in one place going room to room. Mammogram, Bone Density and chest x-ray. I’m so glad this place is there.

Update: The "owner" said send me contact information in order to get details. But left me no way to do so. Make it make sense.

My son was in a car accident and was taken to this facility. Initially the staff was AMAZING! But I called back to get clarification on a doctor's note. The charge nurse, aka the nurses' manager, Carrie, made me feel like I was just trying to get extra days off for my son. When I only wanted to not cause any additional injury.
She actually hung up on me when I asked for her manager.
Wow! Great example to set for your staff. Not that it matters. But this was at 4am on Friday 6/9/23.

Labor and delivery: I read the reviews going in and I was very nervous about my stay. Aside of them messing up my epidural and my recovery room smelling like dirty water..the overall care and stay was great. Everybody was really nice and extremely helpful. I was very comfortable and enjoyed myself completely.

Took my son on 11/3/23 when they called us to triage him a PA came up to me and told me what the problem was with my son without examining him or asking any questions to see if he was in pain. We sat back out in front after triage and was called back only for the nurse to say she is discharging him and the X-rays came back was fine. I told her he didn’t receive any testing. I asked to speak to the PA whom I spoke with earlier. We were put in a room and the PA came in and I asked her about the X-rays the nurse was telling me about the PA Lorelei stated “she’s just a Nurse I make the diagnosis”. Again I asked her about my son problem while she was leaning on the bed with her hands in her pockets and told me what the problem was. My issue is how can you diagnose someone by vision only. She didn’t attempt to touch him or ask him any questions to see if he was in pain.

Since the White Rock Labor and Delivery had closed, we had to transition for Dallas Regional L&D. I can only speak for the L&D and the postpartum nurses; they were absolutely phenomenal. I had severe pre-eclampsia and I didn't have to stress or worry abut whether they were gonna properly take care of me. They made sure I was taken care of at every turn. They ensured that I was always feeling comfortable and that I received the best care for my chronic high blood pressure. They were extremely sweet to my mother, my husband, and our 4 kids. The nurses in postpartum were an absolute party. They were super fun and very caring as well. They ensured I received all my medications in a timely manner. The nursery took such great care of my son, and even with his circumcision they took extra care with him. Any questions or concerns I had with either department they put me and my family at ease. I honestly can say they are truly a great hospital when it comes to having a baby. I would and will recommend them to my family and friends. The only negative thing I have to say is the ER was extremely rude to my family even though they had special bands, I feel their ER department is absolutely horrible and need better staff who actually want to help people. Other than that this hospital is the best for having your baby. Thanks again!!!!

Me atendieron muy bien, tuve ahí a mi bb con el Doctor Javier Garcia muy amables todos. Solo los que están en emergencia muy lentos pero por lo demás puedo decir que fui muy bien atendida.

Absolutely horrible, I have a pregnant wife who was moments away from giving birth arrive to the emergency room, it took them 30 minutes just to ask us what we needed. My wife was in pain sitting in the lobby. We were asked for her full name, how far along she was, etc. I provided her name, and repeatedly said she was 39 weeks and 6 days pregnant, when we’re passed to the back room, they sat her down in a dirty and unorganized room. The nurse on duty attempted to put a name band on her wrist WITH THE INCORRECT NAME ON THE BRACELET. While we were waiting, the nurse on call received a phone call and he stopped attending my wife, which again I remind you is moments away from giving birth. The nurse begins to argue with whomever it was that called him in front of us absolutely disregarding me and my wife. During the argument, the nurse on duty repeatedly told the person he was talking to that my wife was only 36 weeks and 1 day, WHICH AGAIN, WAS INCORRECT INFORMATION. He then walks off without saying anything and is gone for exactly 15 minutes. When he returns, he advises us that he does not have a room for me and my wife. I grabbed my things and had to drive to Methodist hospital, which was about a 25-30 minute drive where my wife later gave birth in. This hospital is absolutely disgusting, unprofessional, and has zero regard for patients. Horrible is no where near my experience with this hospital

I delivered my baby here and the ONLY reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of how out dated the hospital looks. It could definitely use some renovations and remodeling. Driving up I got a little nervous but I was pleasantly surprised. Every single employee/staff member we encountered at this hospital was the sweetest! They get a 10/10 from me!!

If you love your family, do not let him go to this hospital, they will not listen to you about the medication that your family members need and ignore you and want to give them something else that doesn't work for them. My mother is in there since Sunday. They will not give her next time. And she was so sick throwing up all the time till finally. I found someone that would listen to me that she needed it and the hospital turns out can't even get it. What kind of hospital can't even get next year? So I brought it to her, she took it now she's getting much better. Finally, instead of throwing up all the time, and not eating and there couldn't work and start an concerned that she hadn't had a bowel movement since Sunday, she hadn't had anything to eat. Because between trying to schedule her surgery and her throwing up. She can't keep any food on our stomach. But the act like they don't understand this. The nurses and doctors won't call you back when you put in a request for them to call you so you can talk to them. They won't get-app-and-go to the room to help her go to the bathroom. She has to call and call and call and tell she's hurting because she can't go to the bathroor they come in and say they'll help her and then they leave and don't come back. And she's supposed to be on a special bland dot and they can't even get that right, they keep bringing her food. She's not supposed to have that she can't eat so that doesn't help with her trying to eat and get any nutrition cause her constantly bringing her the wrong thing. Even though the order's been put in for her to have a special diet, they can't do it. I had to go buy her elgert that was good for her. Cause the yogurt at the hospital is trash. And you would think the hospital would have good food for the patients and I had to go get her some probiotics, especially from the store that was better than anything at the hospital. So don't let your loved ones go here I know I never will again.

Started off wearing someone else's nameband and and updating their records with my information. Once corrected and moved into an examination room, the doctor came in and asked questions but wouldn't wait for answers. He interruted saying that he was not interested in my history. Some information was pertinent to my condition and I felt might influence my current situation. He was very disrespectful and mocking. I asked my granddaughter to get us out of there while he asserted that he just wanted me to answer the questions he asked. If he is as good a doctor as he apparently believes himself to be, he should be working on the research or lab end of medicine and not with the public, in my opinion.
There were some nurses and technicians who seemed quite capable and friendly. The incoming nurse seemed nice but gave me loose paperwork and left me to remove my connections and climb off the end of the bed as the sides were both up and I couldn't lower them.
There's more but I think enough has been said. It may be a diamond in the rough.
It's a pretty safe bet that I won't willingly choose this hospital for my future medical needs, nor will I recommend it to others.
