After spending 6 horrible hours in the waiting room I end up spending another 3 hours without seeing a dr. Then to take a scan and be told they are 4 hours behind. All of this rolled into my 12 hour visit and counting. This hospital is the absolute worst hospital I’ve ever been to. It makes no sense to be told well there are 4 other patients that have been here for 12 hours as well. There in lies the problem which makes it that much more ridiculous. Can’t even offer a bed. If you’re going to have someone there that long at least have the small bit of courtesy to get them a reclining chair.

I had a great experience. A long wait but necessary precautions put into place by doctors and staff. Very courteous and professional. Very grateful to have been taken care of and to have received the help I needed.

Kent General is horrendous. There are too many things to explain, but if you are not actively dying, go somewhere else. Shoutout to Jenear (I hope I spelled that right) on unit 1A though, she was a shining glimmer of hope. She actively listened to us and advocated for us. Someone give this woman a RAISE!

Literally heard an over night employee I believe his or her name was Lacato say they used their friends kids piss to get the job. SMH these are the type of people working around our hospitals drug users. It’s crazy if a simple employee can get past the techs fool them I can only imagine what the higher ups are doing and getting away with. I don’t feel safe knowing that and this lady had the nerve to be the cleaning crew and sanitation I can only imagine how much she has over looked of skipped over being in her high stupor

I’m sure we’ve all heard stories about this hospital. However my experience last night was amazing. I came in around 11pm thinking i was experiencing Braxton hicks, which turnt out to be active labor. I was 7cm’s dilated and pretty much ready to have my daughter. Nurses Audrey G, Theresa, Monica, and Destanee did an amazing job with helping me and talking me through having my daughter with no epidural issued. I would also like to thank DR.Awan (i hope I got her name correct). She also did an amazing job with keeping me comfortable and talking me through each process. Kent hospital may be alot of things too many, but they were a great help in the labor and delivery room for me! Thank you!

This hospital is a complete joke me and my girlfriend went because she had high blood pressure and we was concerned about the health of our unborn baby she stated to the doctor that she was pregnant he literally ignored everything she said and just asked when does she see an OB sat after that point for 7 hours about hour 8 he came in and said every thing looks fine blood work is normal still yet to mention anything about the baby literally took for me asking is the baby fone for him to acknowledge that fact said she was ready to go home it’s been 5 hours since and he been walking by not even stopping in and updating us smh so we’ve now been here a total of 9hours I’d rather go to Wilmington hospital an hour away then go there ever again.

My Mom was brought in via ambulance for extremely high blood pressure. She arrived shortly after 1am. They took blood and did an EKG right away. Then, she had to sit in an uncomfortable wheelchair in the hallway outside of the room where they took the blood and did the EKG. She was taken for a chest x-ray and then back to the hallway, where she sat for 1 1/2 hours. We were finally brought to a room in the ER and she was given a bed. They hooked her up to the vitals monitor machine and here we have waited since 3am. It is now 9am and still, a doctor has yet to come in. They moved her room and didn’t bother to hook her back up to the vitals monitor, so things can’t be that bad, right? We’ve complained to the nurse 2x and STILL no doctor! This is not acceptable practice for an emergency room!

First of All I will never step a foot in this hospital… this morning my husband call the ambulance for me got there around 2pm now it’s 7:27 I haven’t seen anyone… this horrible…. Now out of no where they come about 7: 28 to do my vital sight … im very disappointed about this hospital… next time I won’t come here I better off going to a walking clinic… I felt like if I was in the critical position they would let me die… I was crying all day at the hospital the only excuse they had is no room … this insane… just do your self a favor if you have an extremely urgent like I have with extreme headache and blood pressure 175 /110 like I had …. Don’t come they don’t care

Finally left after 8hrs and didn't get checked or treated properly. If you have a past condition that has been resolved for 5yrs some doctors will be overly concerned and give you all the wrong tests and not test you for normal things going around like strep.. I obviously have strep and my son's diagnosis was strep after I was discharged we went in at the same time. I couldn't be MORE frustrated. I was not listened to and brushed off like I don't know my body. I now have to get a strep test at CVS so I can FINALLY get the prescription I need instead of just dumping pain medicine on me.
