- A little pricey for certain things, but that's to be expected at a home improvement store. You can also find some great deals too, when you're wandering around thinking of all the projects you can do with all the stuff in that store. I like shopping at Lowe's.
- Key and Vanessa in the paint department were absolutely awesome. They were super helpful and knowledgeable. Give these women raises!
- They honor military discount on everything. Menard doesn't. Homedepot limits the amount u can save per year cap. Lowes is the best in this regards
- Staff 50/50 in terms of professionalism. Tracy is my favorite.
- Really bad customer service at this specific store: combination of poor knowledge, understaffed (or just not trying), low end inventory options.
- for the delivery of the item, oh which they missed an important part of, they called me via an automated service at 10 PM the day before a delivery to let me know they were coming. SMH - if you call them you will be on hold for 20-30 minutes - better off calling corporate, who at least have a call back option - if you go there and ask for help from someone in a section (like appliances), that person will 50%+ chance know less than you about that topic. They just know enough to take your money (slowly) and sort of where things are (sort of). I’m not talking about the stocking folks, but those only work in that specific named majors section - per above - garden people are pretty good - went there thinking “it will be better than ordering online” … WRONG!, giant waste of time.
They have few things in inventory to look at what you are buying, few people to help you, slow process to checkout; If you go at the wrong time be ready to wait up to 30 minutes to check out - when i did order a large appliance (again thinking the local store is better than corporate), they forgot important items needed to install the appliance and left me in limbo. Had to call corporate to get anything done. - the above purchase took 20 minutes to ring me out (not counting the line). Could have ordered it from my phone in 5 minutes from my couch. SMH (again) Very bad store. Go to Home Depot or south Philly. Go to Lowe’s dot com. Don’t go to this store
