- After being turned away by NYU with a tooth abscess, I walked over to the ER @ Bellevue where I was taken good care of and given a referral to return in the morning to see a specialist at the OMFS/Dental clinic on the 5th floor.
As someone who suffers with extremely high anxiety at any dentist appointment, I more than appreciated how caring and compassionate the doctors were who tended to me in the clinic. Dr. Ghudial and Dr. Alemu were two of the best dentists I've ever dealt with. When my anxiety got the best of me and I began to cry, they helped me through it by calming me down and reassuring me, never losing patience with me. They talked me through the procedure so I knew what to expect as we went along and before I knew it it was all over, as painlessly as possible.
I cannot find the words to describe just how much their care and compassion meant to someone like me. As a NYer, born and raised, Bellevue was always given a bad rep as a hospital and all I ever heard were horror stories, but my experience over these past two days was the complete opposite. The staff in both the ER, and dental clinic were fantastic. The hospital itself looked clean and orderly and wait times weren't as long as they are in other hospitals. All in all, I can't find anything to complain about at Bellevue Hospital
- January 3,2023 my father did a surgery. He is 96 yrs old. May god bless all doctors nurses and other workers who have made this possible.Doctors I am so grateful to you. If he had died in surgery I would still be satisfied because you have done your best. You communicate with me throughout the entire process. You all have an heart. The care you gave my father is above and beyond. We can never thank you enough. We cannot even mention the problems we have been through at other places because no one would believe us.
I had 5 weeks of sleepless nights just hearing my father cry. Every time he would say hold my hands dear lord and walk with me. Thank you lord you held his hands and led him to this hospital .Tonight I think I will sleep much better. Hopefully he will make a full recovery. Thank you aunt Margaret for recommending this hospital to me. It really lived up to what you said. You said you worked there for 20 years and you swear they are the best.
