- I had my first and only child here in 2012 , and it was such an amazing experience. The nurses helped have a smooth and subtle delivery , my child is now 11 years old and in good health. Even though most reviews say this place is bad , if i have to have a second child I would definitely come back. If you want good experienced workers with good attitudes please come here. The best hospital ever!!

- I had an exceptional experience at the hospital, thanks to RN Jenny Li Li. She went above and beyond to support and care for my wife during a difficult time. Jenny was not only attentive but also empathetic, making sure to address our needs and concerns throughout our stay. Her dedication and compassion truly stood out, and I believe our community would greatly benefit from more nurses like Jenny Li Li. As a business person, I recognize the value of exceptional healthcare professionals like her in our hospitals. She made a significant positive impact on our hospital experience, and we are truly grateful for her outstanding care.

I just had my second baby here today and I couldn’t wait to share my experience. I had the most beautiful birthing experience, words alone can’t do justification. My Boro park midwife, made me fall in love with delivery. Her and all the assisting nurses during my delivery made me feel loved and supported. They didn’t just treat me like just another patient but a real human. Their support and nurturing attitude made my delivery fast and smooth. They allowed me follow the tune of my body without pressuring me do anything I wasn’t comfortable with.
If they ever see this I want to use this opportunity to say a big thank you to the delivery team, particularly my Boro park midwife.

Very careless hospital. They sent me bill that was 3 times higher that discussed before But No Results. I still did not receive results of my son's ultrasound. But received Bill
They charged me for parking 60 dollars because refused to give Parking Ticket on the front desk. Overall my bill came up to 260 dollars and no test results
Phone number they gave me to call is not responding

Careless. Irresponsible, money hungry facility
Waiting time was excessively long.

Never regretted going this hospital.
Dr Simone Betchen did my surgery and it was the best decision I ever made since then I had no problems.
The staff was very caring.

For the love of your family and sake, DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. This hospital has the most non-reliant staff, everyone here is clueless. The doctors come in once every 3 hours to peek in then leave. They don’t do NOTHING. The nurses have the most sarcastic/attitude i’ve ever seen nurses have. My grandmother has been waiting HOURS for a bedside portable potty, she is in pain while waiting God knows how long more. They say they are “ordering” the appliance/potty and it never shows up. It’s just a way to Milk your insurance. Everything body here just walks around aimlessly, and if their not walking.. doing nothing…, they’re eating snacks like everything is fine. The nurse button does not work. Nurses never come, they must be called from the front desk by a family member to somewhat get their attention. Not even then, do they come immediately. Why have so many nurses if they’re all not going to do their job! My family member was admitted to a room due to failures within her procedure. She developed an infection. The food here is awful! You’re better off bringing your own food for your family member. The blankets/pillows are not comfortable one bit. The pillows are plastic and the blankets are as rough as a carpet. Please, do not bring your family here if you want them to be treated with care.

If you’re in pain don’t go to the emergency room here . They do absolutely nothing for you . After waiting 4 1/2 hrs in pain the Dr told me they don’t do testing there . Staff in there can be very nasty if you ask a question .
I thought the emergency room was for emergencies well not at this hospital .
Stay away !

I was met by a rude, crude elderly woman at the front desk at Maimonides Medical Center 12:15pm pm on Thursday September 7th. I asked a simple question and received a curt and nasty response. This was the first person I had access to at Maimonides. This was my portal of entry to the facility. An angry woman who does not belong anywhere near sick patients.
In response, I was told to contact Patient Relations, which I did. I received a recording, left a phone number and I'm still awaiting a call back. I'm attaching a picture of the " Patient Relations Department." It speaks for itself. Never Again.

The emergency room here is an absolute nightmare. Came here twice for severe pain caused by unknown herniated disc and the first time they just gave me painkillers then sent me home despite doing a CT and there was findings in the report but the nurse told me it was nothing. A day later my conditions has worsen where I can't even walk or sit or stand and Came again by ambulance in hopes that they can look back on my ct report and do an mri to figure out what's wrong. After 8 hrs of wasted time and more painkillers that had no affect, one of the doctor tells me "er department doesn't do mri" and that I should go to the spine center by a cab...... he literally saw me get there by ambulance. what makes him think I'm able enough to get on a cab or even get off the er bed. I decided to stay to observe and was told that I would get a hospital room. However, not only did I not get a room for the next 15hrs I didn't not get even a cubicle. I was just left at the hallway. My nurses seldom comes over to feed me painkillers when its time while my stomache is empty then nowhere to be found. I couldn't even use the bathroom. Hours later another doctor finally came over with some new plans and said that they ordered physical therapy for me. I requested to do an mri because i am unable to even move to do pt and the new doctor helped me ordered one. Found out I have a ruptured herniated disc that was pressing onto my nerves which was what's causing me so much pain and was finally getting the help I needed. Got admitted into the hospital and got my surgery and things finally seems better.
The final results were positive but the overall experience was traumatic. Highly don't recommend coming here for emergency health issues

Worst hospital I was a patient there no food or water for 3 days
It was like a horror movie
Think carefully before going and they stole my phone. They're not caring or nice . They made me sit in my solid waste for 6 hrs. Food is like dog food except the jello. Terrible awful place to be in . In those 4 weeks there I thought I never make it through . All night people are screaming for help and no one the cna and nurse wouldn't help them cos they're too busy talking on their cellphone. Everything I wrote is true. I don't want other people getting hurt there. Please think carefully before going to this horror hospital. If you truly love ur family please don't bring them here

The worst hospital ever! Waiting for 6 hours a signature to finalize discharged papers. Nobody to find, nodoby to complain. Nurses are sharing their shoulders. They don't know. Patients have no rights here.

The doctor were terrible. They do not listen to the patients, are very rude and narcissistic. I wouldn’t recommend this hospital to anyone. Do not come here for surgery. I regret coming here for surgery.

This one goes out to the personnel of Maimonides Medical Center at 4802 10th Ave,Brooklyn,NY for saving my live when I suffered a heart attack about 3 weeks ago. I don't mention any name out of fear of leaving deserving people out, but to the EMT who picked me up in the ambulance, to the Drs. and nurses in the ER, to the Drs. in the Operating Room and the nurses who took care of me during my convalescence, to all of you THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. Thanks to you, instead of me being in the place of no return I am back to my family, to my loved ones, Thanks to you I have a second chance in live.
