HCA Florida Kendall Hospital

My senior parent has been hospitalized here due to a fall and hip fracture. The staff were generally helpful and friendly in my experience across my three visits within a week. The record keeping and communications is a whole different matter altogether. I spoke with a doctor on the trauma team as well as a nurse on the case. Each explained a surgical procedure that was needed and advised me by phone it would be scheduled and I would be called back/updated. I never got my update. So the procedure was apparently rescheduled.
Upon visiting, and asking the attending staff working the wing in which my father was a patient, no one seemed to know his status. They start asking each other about texting somebody who seemingly would know. Very very disappointed overall, with lack of knowledge of the status of a patient.

I received a call the night before surgery asking me to be at the hospital at 8:00 am the following day. We arrived at 8:00 and remained in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours until 10:30 am before I was called into the preop area. Another 2 1/2 hours in pre-op area before they took me back to surgery. The doctor had four surgeries that day. We don't all need to arrive near the same time. They need to do a much better job at scheduling so the waiting room is not overcrowded with people they have no intention of getting to until later in the day. The nurses were very pleasant and friendly, but scheduling needs closer supervision.

My grandmother was admitted to the hospital recently and I must say we had the best experience ever at that facility. My grandma was admitted to 4 west. Best nurses and in general all the staff that work at that unit, they all took care of her like if she was a family member and I can’t be thankful enough for that. We felt safe, beloved and respected. The food was on time and good, and the room was so clean, that floor is intact and neat, and we really loved that. All Drs and nurses so competent too, The Director was always rounding and making sure everything was right.
Thank you guys, our experience was amazing!
My grandma is now home and back to normal.

Last May/17/2024 I had a biopsy procedure under sedation. The preparations from the doctor's office to the hospital were excellent, on the day of the procedure very good professional and human care. As a patient I took a pleasant, I remember everyone who in one way or another had to do with me. From Dr. Sanjay Razdan I consider that he is a very trained professional for his qualifications as well as references from other doctors who have told me very well about him including the hospital staff

El 3/7 fui al hospital a operarme una hernia, desde que entré me recibieron con amabilidad.
En el proceso de mi preparación intervinieron varias personas muy profesionales y con una atención exquisita.
Me operó el dr. Braulio Sabates quien demostró su sabiduría, conocimientos, experiencia y profesionalidad.
En realidad mi visita al hospital superó mis expectativas, desde la limpieza que se aprecia en todos los locales, hasta la atención del departamento después de mi recuperación informándome al detalle y acompañándome hasta la puerta de salida.
Me siento satisfecho y los felicito por desempeñar esa noble labor con tanto amor y respeto al paciente.

Nuestra experiencia en el kendall Hospital fue muy buena, especificamente en el surgical center, la señora que te recibe y te da instrucciones de como va a ser todo el proceso durante la cirugia, es un ser humano excepcional, tanto con el paciente como con el familiar, el doctor Sabates muy bueno, el anesteciologo, enfermeros todos alli exceletes y muy eficientes.

Excelente atención de parte de todo el personal de enfermería, Médicos, las instalaciones limpias recomendado al 100% sigan así. Mejorando cada día más y más . Felicidades a todos. Ingrese el viernes 09-02/2022 me operaron el mismo día y el día siguiente me fui a mi casa todo salió Perfecto no tengo quejas ni críticas en contra del hospital estuve en el piso 2 habitación 4222 mil gracias y bendiciones…

My labor experience at the Hospital was AMAZING! Starting in the labor room with the staff that took care of me were great specially Natasha that helped me SO MUCH during the actual labor. Then, the rooms at the postpartum area were accommodating and my nurses Tiffany, Georgina and Jeimy C were truly helpful, and can’t leave behind the incredible Sarita who was amazing helping me with my breastfeeding process while I was there.
Unfortunately my baby had to spent some time at the NICU, but the overnight nurses Giselle and Caterena, and his daytime nurse Sandy were very understanding and took care so well of him. Catherine or Cathy as I heard them calling her, I believe she is like a nurse supervisor and she was also so attentive. Definitely an amazing experience because the staff ensure it!
