TOP important and interesting reviews from patients

My family member received excellent care the time he was at Skyline. Dr. McCarty was his doctor from the emergency room to his passing. She is so compassionate and kept the family updated during his stay, answered all our questions.

The whole team made his passing more bearable. We were given privacy, snacks were brought in so we could stay with him as he passed. A difficult time was made a bit easier. Highly recommend.

My son had a major car wreck on 10/13/23. You guys from ER to Trauma ICU and the floor were great, All the nurses from 7th floor Hannah, Kate, Sarah and Julie from night shift. I will forever be grateful. You are true Rock stars.

Hands down the BEST experience i've ever had at an ER. My visit yesterday was due to getting extremely sick from eating mushrooms from Steaming Goat food truck. Pretty sure it was a virus due to how long it took for the symptoms to show. However, upon arrival the front desk attendants were so warm and friendly. I was immediately taken to the back and given a bed and met with quick and timely follow up regarding treatment. The nurse in training did a fantastic job giving me my IV. I think her name was Lyndsi (YOU GO GIRL. Keep up the good work!) My doctor Andrew Harrison needs a pay raise or promotion. The RN working under Andrew was so caring(can't remember her name), she checked up on me continuously and was a great mentor to the trainee. I was taken care of in less than two hours. Please shout them out and give them kudos for working in an high paced, intense environment and still intentionally showing up and being pleasant, present, and caring to patients. Peace be unto you and yours. Thank you.

It's sad a tow truck rides around the parking lot scanning and towing car while you're in the emergency room....that's so lowdown

When you have a nurse making comments about a future amputees pain like "who cares well be cutting it off anyways," there's a problem. Tiffany should be fired immediately.

Went for a Pet Scan. My encounter with the person in lobby telling you where to go was not good(She has a attitude) but the others behind desk and in the X-ray dept were great. Not blaming the hospital for someones attitude!!!

Brough my husband here for an active internal bleed, and the care we experienced was exceptional. The ER doctor and nurse were quick to recognize the problem and were personable and kind. I wish I knew the ER nurse’s name so I can thank him personally. When my husband was admitted he got great care from Dr. Shah and the GI, Dr. Gaffney. The charge nurse was also excellent. We are new to Nashville, but I’m so glad we chose TriStar Skyline for my husband’s care.

I received excellent care during my week long visit after my car accident. Almost everything I experienced was of a top tier hospital. Almost all of the staff I interacted with were very friendly and professional (Special shout out to Mae, the tech, while I was on floor 3). The food was decent, and all of my accommodations were met. I haven't seen my medical bill yet haha but I'm glad I ended up at this hospital.

I had a diabetic episode and fell. I went the next night and it was over 500. They put me in a room for over 4 hrs. Used a faulty instrument and made me bleed. They didn't get my sugar lowered. I asked to see the doctor 3 times and she never came. The nurse was rude. My shoulder was a 10 of 10 pain and the doctors gonna say nothings wrong. Tell that to my shoulder. I was humiliated by the nurse administrator and charge nurse over the phone. On my way out I asked for a complaint form and security acted like I was doing something wrong. I am a Pastor in Nashville and have never been so humiliated

Wednesday night I unfortunately got into a motorcycle accident and I was life-flown to this hospital. I cannot express enough how FANTASTIC this hospital is. I was in the trauma part of the hospital. Every staff member there was so nice so friendly. Literally the best hospital I've been to. Two amazing nurses stood out the most Ryan and Bre these two people made it so easy and kept me calm. The staff there will treat you like a person not a number ❤️. 10 out of 10.

Would LOVE to give ZERO STARS! Let me tell you WATCH your Billing! DOCTOR canceled my surgery made it for a week later, Bill was PAID in FULL after Pre-op appointment, they can’t find my payment and are making ME PROVE to them I paid!!!! No one does their job emailed twice, called FIVE times!!! Check billing if they have a habit of canceling surgeries they have a habit of double billing like they did me.

Unfortunately, I was a patient on 6th floor where on several shifts I encountered the worst nursing care every by a medication nurse. The techs were AMAZING and I did have great ER experience and one good nurse on 6th floor. I had to tell the nurses TWO DAYS AFTER A DRAIN WAS PUT IN MY BACK due to Serratia osteomyelitis. That is unacceptable when they know to document, amount of fluid I intake from IV antibiotics, and all other PO and IV fluids to keep me hydrated.

The worst part wasn’t the poor reports tge bext shift’s received, it’s the lack of care for my PRN PAIN MEDS. I was prescribed Dilaudid 1mg IV push q 4 hours then reduced to every 3 hours but still “Kat” as she called herself was too interested in flirting plus gossiping about PRIVATE patient information which not only violated my HIPPA rights legally but also neglected the negative effects I would have with next shift nurse. Since it’s clear she’s never had a spinal hardware infection that went INTO my bone 2020 and again recently 18 months after my last back surgery. She actually called me a drug seeker which is EXTREMELY inaccurate, UNPROFESSIONAL and immature plus violating so many policy rules and legal laws to literally bad mouth me on dayshift as guest come to visit and stop to look in my room since they wanted to view what she DIAGNOSED me with and clearly has no MD or DO license to back up her childish stereotyping of a real person in severe pain. I have no doubt she cause the next shift to treat me differently which mimicked her HOLDING ALL MY PAIN MEDS BUT A TYLENOL, then had to literally pester her and call house supervisor to get my other PRN which was a Norco pill. She held my PRN meds over 3.5 hours from its due time because of her ignorance of my painful condition. She INTENTIONALLY NADE ME SUFFER EXTREME PAIN MANY HOURS PAST PRN SCHEDULE. Luckily my medication record will show that unless she gave me someone else’s Med which I could total see her doing or keeping it for her PERSONAL USE. I hope they drug test her!!! She had to be the most evil person in healthcare for the WRONG reasons I’ve ever encountered.
I’m shocked at how I was treated but several nurses holding my medication because a CO-worker labeled me as a drug seeker when they have access to Nursing Education there, internet, plus physicians and her D.O.N (director of nursing).
I’ve been a licensed nurse going on 24 years and she disgusted and embarrassing to our profession to know her kind exist and she should be forced to be a tech as they could teach her compassion, empathy and PROFESSIONALISM in addition to many other things she lacks as basic nursing and basic human care plus needs.
As a nurse you SHOULD try treating your patients how you’d want to be treated as you just might end up as my patient one day and should never fear retaliation for you GROSS NEGLECT AND MISTREATMENT if someone with severe spasms, bone infection pain in addition to other things basic.
I do hope when request my medical records I do not see more UNPROFESSIONAL assumptions to give themselves permission to mistreat me. This is 2 chance Skyline had to treat me right since 2020. Their staff needs new blood with training that starts as tech and allow them power for feedback about skills without fear of retaliation from new hires plus the other staff that train them.
She and couple others were awful the 5 days I was there counting transport to ER via ambulance. AGAIN, ambulance was AMAZING as were everyone in ER. 6th floor lost my insurance card which was probably intentional from Kat treatment to punish me for having her removed from my care forever as another department called house supervisor to let them know what occurred. Radiology was great too and better than average care. Basically everyone but 6th floor received 5 stars but them.
I pray they fix the staff from this admission and my last one as I will NEVER return and will never give a referral to go their to my family and if my patients ask, I will suggest reading reviews & if blocked I will repost as 5 stars!
