I arrived with no line. The transaction went pretty quickly, and I was in my vehicle in no time. However, they just gave me the keys with no walk-around. I think I was lucky on timing though because as soon as I left the garage, there was serious gridlock and it was mayhem (7pm on 12/20). I thought to myself that I was glad I came to pick up the SUV when I did. The SUV was clean and very comfortable and I thought it perfect for our drive down to FL. After running a couple of errands, I jumped on the highway to head home to pack the car for departure the next day. As soon as I hit 60-65 mph, things didn't feel right. The alignment on the front seemed odd and there was a bit of a wobbly feeling and a pull to the right. I thought about it and really didn't want to deal with it, but realized it could be an issue dealt with now or we could end up somewhere on the side of the road sometime during the trip down south. As much as I didn't want to do it, I went back into the traffic. I put the car in the Budget return spaces and went to the booth and only the Avis person was there. I explained the issue, and I'm not sure he believed me, but I said I promise you if you take the vehicle on the highway you will understand. I asked him if we could get the same make and model and he said unfortunately that was the last one and I was worried we would have to pick from the last cars available. Instead, he upgraded me, without me knowing it, until I saw the vehicle. When I went back to return the keys to the broken vehicle after transferring my stuff over to the new SUV. He asked me if I was happy with the one he gave me, and I said that it was very nice, but I hope it is good on the highway. He said that he gave us the nicest one they have, and I agreed that it was a comfortable upgrade. So, it was an unfortunate situation, but he did the right thing by me, so that was the positive. Hopefully, all remains good on this rental going forward.

Checked in no problem in out return little unclear about drop off. Car came with windshield snow cleaner nice touch.

We have been renting from Budget for a while now because of their excellent customer service, we always get the car we select or are upgraded to a better car for no charge and drop-off is always quick. Their staff are friendly and very accommodating. There are other car renting companies available out there and we have used many, but have stayed with budget because they go on and beyond our expectations always, keep it up Budget!

One of the worst experiences. Had a reservation for a 3 row SUV. First car was dirty with stains on seats. Second was broken with dashboard not working at all. Third stunk with cigarettes, but as nothing else was available had to take it. The attendant acted with such an attitude like I asked for something unacceptable every time I would ask to change the car. Really bad experience.

Rented this car from Albany airport. The car was really dirty. Not even washed. The interior carpets were bad. Otherwise , it was fine
