ABOUT

Who are we? Well, we seek out the finest natural and organic foods available, maintain the strictest quality standards in the industry, and have an unshakeable commitment to sustainable agriculture. Add to that the excitement and fun we bring to shopping for groceries, and you start to get a sense of what we’re all about. Oh yeah, we’re a mission-driven company too.

The original Whole Foods Market opened in 1980 with a staff of only 19 people. It was an immediate success. At the time, there were less than half a dozen natural food supermarkets in the United States. We have grown by leaps and bounds since our first store opened.

Love Whole Foods for the unusual groceries you won't find at Safeway. This store has a large health and beauty department with a lot of top natural brands. There's some great stuff here but be prepared to spend some $$$. The staff is pleasant and helpful, even when it's five minutes to closing time. It's a bit out of my way but I think I'm going to be a regular here.

Store was cluttered and most of shelves were empty. Not what I expected from my previous visits.

Mostly overpriced food for people with money to waste.

But interesting for a one off item (hence 2 stars)

I'll share it here, since it's impossible to send a message or email to Whole Foods. This store has had worse and worse customer service every week. This last week, the cashier threw the bags at me and told me to "bag it myself". Honestly I would just do self-checkout if I didn't have to go through the cashier when I'm purchasing beer or wine.

Given the competition in the area, it's kind of surprising how little they care. Exploring other options like Gus and Rainbow Grocery.
