Costco Wholesale Washington, DC

This is my favorite Costco location in the area. Great customer service! Shout out to Dante who works and assists with the registers. He always greets and has a positive attitude. I can definitely tell that the staff enjoy working here. It makes the shopping experience much better!

Place is usually packed. Staff is 50/50. Sales team is always trying to get you to upgrade. Prices are reasonable. Parking is a mess, exiting the parking lot is a mess during peak hours. Overall I recommend because there is no other wholesale store in the area that sells liquor. And BJ’s is trash

The biggest of big box stores is Costco and the quality and quantity for your needs are always met. The DC location sells alcohol at very good prices. I live in suburban but work in DC so I stop by on my way home for my food & adult beverage needs as well as filling up the tank with gasoline.

Awesome Selection and of course they sell liquor way cheaper than in Virginia.

Great service. We had a dead battery as we tried to go home. Even on a 87 degree summer day employees Camille and Johnny took extra time to give us a battery jump. We got home in plenty of time before the frozen purchases melted. Costco for the win!

The eye care department here is excellent. Lisa was professional, efficient, and such a pleasure to chat with. I really felt like no time passed at all. She also told me I looked thinner in person than in my member photo, and for that I am eternally grateful and will be a forever Costco customer. And she looks GREAT in olive.

Has liquor. Very clean and well stocked. But get there early. This place is a mad house. Busy, busy.

Went to this location as I was visiting in the neighborhood but don't live nearby. The place is "chaotic" (spouse's words) and "I wouldn't go back". The parking lot flow and entrance is difficult to maneuver with parking cones sort of directing traffic. Nobody signals so you don't know who is cutting you off or trying to get into the gas lane or out the exit.

Line ups in the store on Saturday were nuts. People were standing in a line to the back of the store and no one seemed to know why but it was because the people in the front were starting a line for self checkout and people behind them didn't realize this and thought it was for regular checkout.

Cafe had a bit of a wait but as long as you stand in line at the cashier for 8-10 mins and someone orders the food, you can marry up at the same time. 2/6 condiment dispensers were empty, ice machine in pop machine was virtually empty, only one non-caffeinated drink beverage choice which is a disincentive for buy a quick meal for the kids.

Staff were friendly enough. Note: If you are traveling through from far away, the flyer may be different here than back home.

Great Costco, far superior to Arlington location. Drivers in the lot and in the area are worst in the country but that’s not Costco’s fault.
