- Updated Review - This Whole Foods has removed the 10 items-or-less lines and replaced them with self-checkout stations. A vast improvement! I have not had any issues or delays. This is a great example of identifying an issue and addressing the customer service needs with a solution that works.
Dear Whole Foods manager, in case you were wondering why there was an abandoned cart at the express checkout line last week... I’ll fill you in, as I approached the checkout lines I noticed two or three people waiting at each of the three open registers. A quick tally of my items - ten, yes express-line eligible. Delighted with my shopping expertise, I made way to express checkout queue. Whoa, another lucky break, I’m the first in line. However, there were no visible checkers in sight. No problem,
I’m sure they’ll be back shortly, I mean the express lanes are always open, right? A couple minutes later and now two people behind me, I ask the Whole-Foods employee filling the racks at the end of the register next to me if the express checker was around?... My question was completely ignored. Another couple minutes pass and now four people behind me, I again ask the employee if someone was coming? Question is ignored again. Emboldened by the irritated looks on the faces of the people behind me, I said “excuse me” to get her attention. When she finally looked at me, I asked is someone coming to check us out? Her reply - “Do you see any of the lights on?” There were not. Clearly I was wrong in my assumption that the express lanes are always open, but by then, I was so frustrated I abandoned my cart and left and have not been back since.
- This location had the freshest produce I've seen in North Texas yet with a diverse offering of organic produce and grass fed meats. I wish more locations were like this one.
- Love coming here but we need more food options. It’s getting a little basic. All we need is a change.
- Good store from the chain. It's one of the larger version of their stores with a larger variety of products. My target that day was muffins.
- We have become increasingly disappointed in the freshness of the produce, especially the berries. We had to throw out a full container of Raspberries the next day because they had gone bad.
- Clean, well staffed, good selection, quite competitive prices.
- This one has a beautiful layout but felt uptight. No one saying hi, employees seemed tired, no area to sit inside (seating areas are one of the greatest things about WFs, a very French concept), I felt rushed out. Took a beautiful walk down to Central Market which was much more relaxing
- Lots of crime in the parking lot of this location lately - be careful, stay aware if you shop here
ABOUT
Who are we? Well, we seek out the finest natural and organic foods available, maintain the strictest quality standards in the industry, and have an unshakeable commitment to sustainable agriculture. Add to that the excitement and fun we bring to shopping for groceries, and you start to get a sense of what we’re all about. Oh yeah, we’re a mission-driven company too.
The original Whole Foods Market opened in 1980 with a staff of only 19 people. It was an immediate success. At the time, there were less than half a dozen natural food supermarkets in the United States. We have grown by leaps and bounds since our first store opened.
