ABOUT

Trader Joe’s is a national chain of neighborhood grocery stores. We are committed to providing our customers outstanding value in the form of the best quality products at the best everyday prices. Through our rewarding products and knowledgeable, friendly Crew Members, we have been transforming grocery shopping into a welcoming journey full of discovery and fun since 1967.

At Trader Joe's, you won’t find a lot of branded items. Instead, you’ll discover a store full of unique and interesting products, along with everyday basics, in the Trader Joe's label.

Our buyers travel the world searching for products we think are exceptional and will find a following among our customers. To earn a spot on our shelves, each product is submitted to a rigorous tasting panel process, in which every aspect of quality is investigated in context of the price we can offer. If a product is assessed as an outstanding value, it becomes an essential part of the Trader Joe's shopping adventure.

Not my favorite trader joes, mostly location reasons. It is situated in the heart of USC next to a small target. I'd say the best best days to go are Tuesdays thru Saturdays. A lot of students go in big crowds on monday and sundays.
There's an underground parking garage. You can get your parking validated in either trader joes or target. So basically, free parking if you're fast enough.

Convenient location for USC students, faculty and staff. Located at the University village. Currently on summer break there are shorter lines since students are away.

Trader Joe’s sunscreen is the best, hands down. Feels like I have nothing on my face. It’s not thick. It’s light.

This trader joe isn’t big but over all it got plenty of goodies every time I go they got everything restock from veggies , juices , to breads and frozen goodies. I love that they have parking downstairs all you have to do is scan your ticket before leaving and you got free parking.

Love going to Trader Joe's. They always have an awesome selection of food you don't find at other stores and reasonably priced too. This store is usually packed and the checkout line can get long, but they move it pretty fast. Parking sucks, you can usually find a spot but the wait to get inside the lot is super long and sometimes it takes just as long to get out, so I'd recommend walking here.

Staff is usually pretty great here. Though it can be hit or miss. Last time I was here the guy checking us out mumbled his way through our interaction- then the homegirl showed up with the excuse she was going to help him bag our groceries. She proceeded to take her sweet time and chatted it up with him while we patiently waited. Having worked plenty of customer-facing jobs I can tell you that you can have fun and talk while still working. It doesn't have to be one or the other. Other than this one hiccup, the staff here are awesome.

Now that they are owned by a major grocery conglomerate, their "seasonal items" and quickly disappearing "special items" seem much more like a bait and switch long term, no longer quirky small business experiments. Coconut based products in particular seem fleeting. They add sugar and starch to items that don't need it or would be much better without it. Otherwise they have the best products at superior prices to all their limited competition. I just wish they were more geographically convenient than Whole Foods, especially in DTLA. Also their staff should Unionize.

Employees are always friendly. Prices are reasonable, as always parking is difficult and not free.

My 1st time in the store and I had to look for gluten free foods. I had no idea really what I was doing. I had the workers helping me find certain foods. They even printed me out a list of gluten free foods. It's been so helpful to me. Thank you trader Joe's staff. So helpful and kind and good advice to.
